Day 4: Herbs and Spices

Dear friends,

Welcome to day 4 of the Seven Days of Gratitude. If you missed previous days, it’s not too late to join in on the fun. I encourage you to join us on this gratitude journey.

Please share your gratitude reflections via posts and stories with #7daysofgratitude and tag us. As always, I am grateful for you. I hope those of you outside of the United States participate and share in why so many of us love the holiday of Thanksgiving.

Wishing all of you a beautiful season of gratitude.

DAY 4: HERBS AND SPICES

This year, I was blessed to be able to take a gut-healing course done by Dr. Aviva Romm. While this course goes through different meal plans and teaches so much important information, it never ceases to amaze me how medicinal and important herbs and spices are. It’s nature’s medicine cabinet.

Personally, I am a fan of turmeric, ginger, cinnamon, and I love herbs like dill and oregano. Sometimes, spices and herbs take us back to our childhood. They evoke memories.

What are your favorite herbs and spices? Do you have one you use every day?

Share your gratitude with us on stories or post on IG, and tag us @modernwitnesses_ and #7daysofgratitude. You can also find us on Twitter @modernwitnesses.
