Today, Morgan speaks to us about the importance of generosity, a recent vision she had, and saturating oneself with God’s Word.

Inspiring biblical passage of the moment: “So you must remain in life-union with me, for I remain in life-union with you. For as a branch severed from the vine will not bear fruit, so your life will be fruitless unless you live your life intimately joined to mine.” John 15:4  TPT (The Passion Translation is amazing)

Spiritual growth focus at the moment: I’ve been in a season of saturating myself with the Word of God. I wake up each morning excited to read my Bible app and drink a large cup of coffee.

Profession: Service industry/Airbnb Owner.

A one sentence bio of yourself: I am beyond passionate about self-development and spreading the message of self-love and positive self-talk.

When did you first encounter God and how did you encounter Him? I encountered God in a supernatural way, 10 years ago. Before I was saved, my life was shattered by a drug addiction, and I had lost hope. In my darkest hour, Jesus filled me with his Holy Spirit and changed me from the inside out.

What has helped you grow spiritually in this season? Abiding completely upon the leading of the Holy Spirit. Surrendering my ambitions for the Lord’s plans. Getting quiet and shutting out the noise of society, so I can get direction from the Lord.

“Getting quiet and shutting out the noise of society, so I can get direction from the Lord.”

Just read/currently reading (and what has it taught you?): Girl, Wash Your Face by Rachel Hollis! This book helped me to push past all my flaws and chase my God-given dreams, inspiring me to become the best version of myself. Best book I’ve read, I recommend this book, 100 percent!

Top three essentials: Coffee, my Bible App/Phone, and dry shampoo!

How did God speak to you recently? I actually had a vision of myself sharpening arrows during a worship service. I felt the Holy Spirit was telling me to keep writing devotionals and saturating myself with the Word.

Hobby: Fitness, hiking, photography, and writing!

Top three practical tips for staying spiritually strong: Fellowship/connection, service, Bible reading.

Favorite person in scripture? David, I truly relate to his worship style.

What do you want people to learn about God when they look at you? That God can heal you from all bondage. I have been set free from drug addiction, an eating disorder, and self-hate. I want to spread awareness about eating disorders because it’s not talked about in the church but so many girls are suffering.

“I have been set free from drug addiction, an eating disorder, and self-hate.”

How do you leave your mark on your community? Serving and helping the less fortunate. My husband and I like to make burritos and hand them out hot, to the homeless. Just recently, we were helping victims from the California paradise fire. We adopted a couple people and sent out clothing and donated money.

“My husband and I like to make burritos and hand them out hot, to the homeless.”

Favorite holiday? Christmas.

A dream you have? Publish a book. Also to spread awareness through Morgan Hamilton Ministries!

A special tradition you and your family engage in or keep: To always look for ways to help others through generosity.

Question you will ask when you get to heaven? Father, did I make you proud?

Thing you want to raise awareness about: Finding self-love and eating disorders.

What do you usually do before 9 a.m.? I work late, so I usually wake up around that time. I always take the first hour of my day to spend with God. It’s vital for my sanity.

What is on your nightstand? Notebook for goal writing and a Bible.

Define Christianity in a sentence: A dedication to Christ to live a life of integrity, making disciples and laying your life down in service to others.
