MW: How do you focus on Jesus during this busy time of the year?

@amymosorio: How I maintain my focus on Jesus in the midst of chaos (aka retail): setting aside time to be with God. I know it’s cliché, it’s basic to say that, but do we really do it? Do we actually set aside time, like Jesus did, to be with the Father? Do we really turn off our phones, take our Bibles and find a quiet space to meditate in His presence? I know I’ve been guilty of doing the complete opposite. Of being complacent in doing 5 minute prayers that don’t fill not even the tips of my fingers.

It is crucially important that we retreat often to the throne of grace to talk to Papa. We NEED it. Of course God wants to hear from us, but we need to hear from Him. You’ll find calmness and peace when you slow down to be in His presence.
