Inspiring biblical passage of the moment: “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.” (Jeremiah 29:11)

Spiritual growth focus at the moment: Read God’s Word daily, and learn to apply God’s Word to my life daily.

Profession: I own a meal prep company.

A one sentence bio of yourself: I’m a wife, mom of two, with a renewed heart and marriage.

When did you first encounter God? In 2015, while going through a divorce– but I didn’t divorce, and God saved me and my marriage.

Just read/currently reading: Grace Not Perfection, by Emily Ley.

Top three essentials: My Bible, journal, earphones.

How did God speak to you recently? I felt challenged and frustrated running certain aspects of my business with my family, as I journaled a list of all the feelings I felt each week we met, I realized God wanted me to change my approach. I need to stop focusing on their change and focus on what I could do. I needed to stop having a pity party and be the leader he has called me to be. I’ve been praying differently now for this situation, and I’ve seen clear change. My approach is different, and each week we seem to communicate better!

“I needed to stop having a pity party and be the leader he has called me to be.”

Hobby: I’m a body building competitor.

Top three practical tips for staying spiritually strong: Prayer, study God’s Word, worship.

Favorite person in scripture? Esther. I studied Esther while going through my spiritual transformation. During that time, I needed the courage to fight for my marriage. I believe she had many of the same characteristics I needed to learn to help me push through my trials.

“During that time, I needed the courage to fight for my marriage.”

What do you want people to learn about God when they look at you? God can renew your heart and life and He can renew a dead marriage. It’s never too late. He can fill any voids from your past. God can even make all dreams come true!

Favorite season? Summer.

Favorite holiday? Thanksgiving.

A special tradition you and your family engage in or keep: At the end of year, we write our short and long term goals and create a list of family goals and review our last year’s list.

Question you will ask when you get to heaven? Why did God give me another chance?

Thing you want to raise awareness about: True beauty and transformation starts from the heart, not physically.

What do you usually do before 9 a.m.? I drop off my kids at school and train 5 days a week to prepare for competition.
