Gabrielle speaks to us about what confidence has to do with embracing who God designed her to be, how God recently spoke to her about her finances, and the importance of a woman’s role.

Inspiring biblical passage of the moment: “The end of all things is at hand; therefore be self-controlled and sober-minded for the sake of your prayers. Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins. Show hospitality to one another without grumbling. As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace: whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.” (1 Peter 4:7-11)
I think these verses are very fitting for the time that will live in, each verse gives a simple command that when followed, sows seeds of love and wisdom and kindness– things that we are missing in this day. This passage gives us everything we need to live for God’s glory and let His light be seen in us.
Spiritual growth focus at the moment: How to be a confident godly woman in a world full of people giving women reason after reason to feel insecure and steer away from what God designed us to be
Profession: I’m a nursing assistant, currently working in a pain management clinic.
A one sentence bio of yourself: I’m a strong willed, sassy girl with a big love for God and a great love for his people.
When did you first encounter God? I grew up in church, accepted Christ at 14, but didn’t fully commit to pursuing a personal relationship with Christ until about 2016.
Just read/currently reading: Capital Gaines: Smart Things I Learned Doing Stupid Stuff
How did God speak to you recently? So, my life has been on somewhat of a decline since Summer of 2015, and most of my struggle has been in my finances. Going into this year, I was feeling slightly feeling discouraged, but God spoke to me multiple times, “your breakthrough is coming, be patient.” God is going to bring me through!
“God is going to bring me through!”
What do you want people to learn about God when they look at you? I want people to learn of God’s love. We live in a selfish world, a world that lacks love and forgiveness, and I want people to see that the kind of love that heals and covers even the worst of sins is the love of Christ [1 Peter 4:8].
Favorite season? Fall.
Favorite holiday? Christmas.
Thing you want to raise awareness about: Alongside my sister, I want to raise awareness about women and our power, the power that God put within us and that our role as women is just as important as the role of a man.
“Our role as women is just as important as the role of a man.”
What do you usually do before 9 a.m.? Usually I’m up and already working but I am not a morning person lol if I don’t have t go work I make coffee and try to read something positive to start my day out right.
Define Christianity in a sentence: I believe this is hard for us to answer because Christianity can’t be defined with words. We don’t have enough words to even begin to describe the goodness of God or what he can do for us. His power and miracles are indescribable. Christianity is something that I believe we have to experiences; it’s a personal relationship, friendship with Christ.
