Today, Tiffany speaks to us about delivering truth effectively, finding perspective in the midst of trials, and an older book that is making her faith soar.

Tell us a bit about how you grew up and your childhood: I grew up in Tallahassee, FL, as a pastor’s daughter, with two sisters. Life was simple but so good. Being the middle child, I was always in the middle of trouble. Ha! I went to public school, K-12, in Wakulla County– a very rural county, but I survived!
Inspiring biblical passage of the moment: Acts 1 & 2; thankful for the power God gives us!
Spiritual growth focus at the moment: Gratitude and contentment. Being the same person, the same with God in the mountains and valleys. I want to be a tree planted by the water.
Profession: Training illustrator and SM influencer.
If you wrote a memoir, what would the title be? Life – (First) Time Around
When did you first encounter God and how did you encounter Him? I was raised under the church pew but had my first experience with Him when I received the Holy Ghost (Acts 10:45-46) at age 6. I felt “called” into ministry at 12. I found Him myself and have craved more of Him every day.
How has your relationship with Him changed you? Changed me? More like made me! Ha. I was blessed to find God early on, and by trusting Him, I have overcome so many trials, I’ve grown and been spared many of life’s disappointments.
“I was blessed to find God early on, and by trusting Him, I have overcome so many trials, I’ve grown and been spared many of life’s disappointments.”
What has helped you grow spiritually in this season? As a newlywed, life is different! I’m married to the best man on earth, but that doesn’t mean life is suddenly perfect and you don’t face trials. We’ve lost two grandparents this [past] year and have had some crazy personal situations that have rocked us, but not destroyed us. Reminding myself that God is FOR me has been my peace of mind. When you know God is on your side, everything else seems so insignificant and small.

Just read/currently reading (and what has it taught you?): All the Miracles of the Bible. It’s an old book, but new to me! It’s so exhilarating to see all the supernatural things God did in His Word. Makes your faith soar!
Top three essentials: The Bible App, body spray and a hair tie.
How did God speak to you recently? I’m a person that hears God in everything. I believe His intelligence is hidden in all of His design, and we can learn from Him in all of life. So, I’m always getting something from Him, and I try to share what I can online to help others.
Hobby: Decorating and modest style!
Top three practical tips for staying spiritually strong: Prayer! Reading the word. (I start with the Bible App scripture of the day and go from there every day.) Surround yourself with people MORE spiritual than you. You want to go higher and not live resisting being pulled lower.
Favorite person in scripture? Peter. The dude made mistakes but was used to experience some incredible things!
What do you want people to learn about God when they look at you? That God is love, and forgiveness. That God can help you overcome ANYTHING. That living for God is living your best life!
How do you engage with your community? Other than being a advocate for Christ on social media, I love working in my local English and Spanish Church. I also have a vendor booth in a local vintage mall. It has been such a great experience meeting people!
Favorite holiday? Christmas! Happy Birthday JESUS!
A goal you have? To be a mom.
A special tradition you and your family engage in or keep: My husband and I have been married for a year and a half, so we’re still developing our traditions, but we love traveling and taking “shoe shots”. Ha!
Question you will ask when you get to heaven? It may sound cheesy, but I feel at that point I won’t be curious anymore; I won’t be worried. I’ll just say, “Thanks,” and maybe ask God if cookie dough was really that bad for us.
Thing you want to raise awareness about: Christians have a place in society. We just have to learn how to communicate truth in love! Truth is what the world needs, we just need to deliver it effectively.
“Truth is what the world needs, we just need to deliver it effectively.”
What does your morning routine consist of? Read scripture of the day, pray a brief prayer of gratitude and get to computer work. I’m not a morning person, so God and I talk more at night and throughout the day. But I want to start off every day with Him!
What is on your nightstand? Tissues, my ring bowl, oil diffuser. I keep my Bible in my purse for the go!
Define Christianity in a sentence: Living for Christ is the closest thing to the perfect life, not because life will be easy or that Christians are perfect but because He is our help and perfectly what we need.
