Tell us a bit about how you grew up and your childhood: My name is Noemi P., I am 26 years old, and I live in Galicia, Spain. I have been fortunate to have been raised and grown up in an evangelical family because of that, God has been present in my life since I was born. On Sundays, I attended Sunday School and my best friends were also children of the Church. I had an idyllic and privileged childhood.

Inspiring biblical passage of the moment: As for a verse that inspires me in this moment of my life, I have to say that at this moment I am in a complicated situation in all areas of my life, so I usually lack the strength to continue every day, so I would say that every time I wake up in the morning I look at the wall and there I have my verse slogan: “But those who trust in the Lord will have new strength, they will fly like eagles; they shall run and not faint, they shall walk and not be weary.” Isaiah 40:31

Spiritual growth focus at the moment: As for my spiritual growth, I believe that God has allowed me to go through very difficult and hard situations precisely to mature in the Lord, and it has been in pain when God has strengthened me and helped me to walk, day after day. I honestly have to say that I still have a lot to grow and mature spiritually, and I hope that when I am ready, God can use me so that His name will be glorified.

Profession and how do you incorporate your connection with God into your daily, secular work? I have studied law. It should be noted that in Spain this process and examination is very difficult, in which you have to compete with thousands of people and study hard all day, every day of the year with hardly any rest. If I achieve my goal and become a judge, I would like to be fair and impart justice, fight against the inequalities that are so evident in this world and achieve a more just society.

On the other hand, I had the enormous privilege of working for a few months as a teacher of evangelical religion in a public school. It has been one of the best experiences of my life because not only do you work to live and earn money, but you also work for God, teaching children about the Bible and about how great God is. It was a privilege to be able to dedicate the days exclusively to teaching children about Jesus and the stories of the Bible.

If you wrote a memoir, what would the title be? Strong in weakness

When did you first encounter God and how did you encounter Him? As I said, since I was born “I met” the Lord, and I was baptized at age 15; I do not know whether to define it as an encounter or not, but it was certainly about two years ago when I touched bottom in my life and started living a real Christianity. I realized that I had spent a lifetime being a “Sunday Christian” and that I needed to change that. For this, the preaching of a pastor from southern Spain that I listened to via Podcasts was key. They were key in my “spiritual awakening”.

What has helped you grow spiritually in this season? It sounds strange to say it but basically suffering and pain. I suffer from emotional problems, and it is precisely thanks to them that I am closer to God because otherwise I could not live. God is the engine that helps me live every day.

Just read/currently reading (and what has it taught you?): I usually read Christian books whenever my limited time permits, as well as doing devotionals, and I would certainly recommend Joyce Meyer’s book The Field of the Battle of the Mind. It was also a great impact for me on Reinnkard Bonkee’s book Even Greater, how God has used this man to carry out great miracles, achievements and evangelize in the most troubled areas of Africa.

How did God speak to you recently? In a personal conflict with someone close to me who has hurt me a lot, I went through several stages, pain, anger, anger, resentment, contempt. And in the midst of this accumulation of (incorrect) emotions, something came to my mind. HOW DO I NOT FORGIVE SOMEONE WHEN CHRIST FORGIVEN ME? This is clearly found in John 20:23.

Forgiveness is a decision, and it is very easy to say but very difficult to put into practice. Personally, I pray constantly to God asking for help in this situation.

Hobby: A hobby, I really like photography and doing photo sessions; also everything related to fashion.

Top three practical tips for staying spiritually strong: Read the Bible constantly, even if we do not feel like it or are tired to force ourselves to read each day a little more. For this, reading plans are recommended.

Pray without ceasing. Maintain an ongoing relationship with God, in every situation and at all times.

And finally, ask yourself at every moment: What I am doing is pleasing to God? If Jesus saw me at this very moment, would he please how I am acting, talking or thinking?

Favorite person in scripture? Esther, for your courage and courage.

What do you want people to learn about God when they look at you? I know I have to work on this, but I would like people to see in me the love of God, to transmit to others the love of God. And also transmit my passion and love for the Lord and obedience to His word.

How do you leave your mark on your community? Well, frankly, I think I do not leave much, I try to share verses through social networks, help in what I can to those who need it most, but for now, I have not had many opportunities to be able to get more involved.

Favorite holiday? Summer holidays, I love the sun, the beach and the sea. I think it’s amazing. Sometimes, when I’m on the beach and I see the sunsets I think, Wow! Look what God has created, and we can enjoy it.

A goal you have? Approve the oppositions and be a judge.

A special tradition you and your family engage in or keep: We do not have any in particular.

Question you will ask when you get to heaven? Catch Jesus and give Him a huge hug.

Thing you want to raise awareness about: I would like the society to be aware of the strong inequality that exists; it is not fair that some people can not eat and that others have millions and millions of money in their bank accounts. On the other hand, it makes me very angry to see how the rulers of countries or cities worry about building big buildings or spending money on superficial and often useless things when there are people in the street asking for money.

I believe that there is a priority to cover the basic needs of all people and to ensure that the basic and minimum needs of people are covered. I also believe that we must teach to love our neighbor, it does not cost anything to be kind, to smile at someone, to help when someone asks you to. Sometimes, we are not aware of the great impact that a simple gesture of kindness, or a smile, can have.

What does your morning routine consist of? Have breakfast, study all morning and then generally read the Bible and pray.

What is on your nightstand? A picture, a stuffed animal of a penguin and a box.

Define Christianity in a sentence: True Christianity consists not only in speaking about Jesus, but also acting in every moment as Jesus would.
