Inspiring biblical passage of the moment: Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; you are mine, and I’ve called you by name. I will be with you when you pass through the waters and when you pass through the rivers, they will not overwhelm you. You will not be scorched when you walk through the fire the flames will not burn you…” Isaiah 43: 1-2

I’m currently in this process of waiting; waiting on a spouse, waiting for F.U.S.E to be a full-scale ministry, and more, but through the waiting, there are a lot of tests/trials that I am finding myself to trust in God more than I ever had to before, and I’m learning to really believe He is not only with me/for me, but He also knows my very situation [and] is right alongside with me.

“I’m learning to really believe He is not only with me/for me, but He also knows my very situation [and] is right alongside with me.”

Spiritual growth focus at the moment:  I’m focusing on trying to trust God more than ever before, in such a different way. I’ve trusted Him with my life, family, finances, etc. But I never knew the Lord’s calling for my life. Now that I know, I am called into not only ministry but into MY ministry I am learning to trust in a new and deeper way.

Profession: Working with kids. My life calling, developing F.U.S.E into a non-profit organization that empowers women to know their worth/value through their identity in Christ.

A one sentence bio of yourself: Finding my way through Jesus and empowering women in the process.

When did you first encounter God and how did you encounter Him? First time I ever truly encountered God was about 2.5 years ago. My life was falling apart; I was doing anything possible to numb the pain and one day, driving to work my now spiritual mama gave me a call, even though she didn’t know who I was, she just spoke life into me, and that day, I knew there was a God looking down on me who loved me.

What has helped you grow spiritually in this season? The people around me who love me and encourage me, but also who aren’t afraid to speak the truth and be real with me.

Top three essentials: Jesus, coffee, and a journal!

How did God speak to you recently? As He always speaks to me, through people and songs.

Top three practical tips for staying spiritually strong: Being in the Word, prayer, and praise, NO MATTER WHAT!! Even when I don’t feel like it.

Favorite person in scripture? David, for sure.

What do you want people to learn about God when they look at you? His love.

Favorite season? FALL FALL FALL FALL FALL FALL.

Favorite holiday? NEW YEARS. I think it’s just so refreshing, no matter how cliché it is.

A dream you have? For F.U.S.E to become a full-scale ministry/non-profit.

Thing you want to raise awareness about: Human trafficking, sexual exploitation, and family molestation.

What do you usually do before 9 a.m.? Drag myself out of bed and get ready for work, oh yeah and COFFEE.

What is on your nightstand? I don’t have a nightstand; I have a cute bench that I put my phone and glasses on.

Define Christianity in a sentence: Christianity is a relationship with my best friend, lover, helper, and papa.
