Inspiring biblical passage of the moment: “You are the light of the world, a city set on a hill can not be hidden. Neither does a light come on and it is placed under a bushel, but on the candlestick, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.” Matthew 5: 14-16

Spiritual growth focus at the moment: As a Christian, I am called to be an influence.

“As a Christian, I am called to be an influence.”

Profession: Teacher.

A one sentence bio of yourself: Mountaineer of life and influencer.

When did you first encounter God and how did you encounter Him? I grew up in a Christian home and grew up listening to His Word at home, in Bible school and when I went to the children’s church. I do not remember the date, but God has revealed himself to my life since my childhood, and I consider Him my friend.

What has helped you grow spiritually this season? Running to God and depending on Him completely in every situation.

Just read / currently read (and what did he teach you?): I currently read the book Los 30 Horrores Que Cometen los Hombres y Que Toda Mujer Debe Saber: A Pesar de los Errores Todavia Puedes Renacer (Spanish Edition) by Dr. Norma Pantojas.

God’s direction and our disposition are the perfect key to a happy marriage.

Top three essentials: God, family, ministry.

How did God speak to you recently? In a general way, I have felt it speaking to my spirit, but the most recent has been through someone while ministering to my life.

Hobby: Listen to music and surf the internet.

Top three practical tips for staying spiritually strong: Prayer, read the Bible and flee from temptation.

Favorite person in scripture? How difficult! I will not say one but three: Joseph, David, and Daniel.

What do you want people to learn about God when they look at you? I want you to see that [while] being young and modern, [you] can be an authentic follower and servant of Christ.

Favorite holiday? Christmas and the month of the Fatherland in the DR, February.

A dream you have? Since I was a little girl I’ve always wanted to have a foundation for orphaned children.

A special tradition you and your family engage in or keep: We pray together every day when we get up.

Question you will ask when you get to heaven? Sir, how do you do to answer all your children?

Thing you want to raise awareness about: How much a human being needs from God.

What do you usually do before 9 a.m.? Pray, have breakfast and go to work.

What is on your nightstand? Cell phone, lamp, books.

Define Christianity in a sentence: Be the reflection of Christ.
