Seven Days of Gratitude: Day 3

SHINING LIGHT
DAY 3: PODCASTS
By: Gabriela Yareliz Gonzalez, Editor of Modern Witnesses
Hi friends!
I loved podcasts before they were “in”, and I have to share some of the ones I am grateful for, as they have contributed to my own growth and walk. Please don’t forget to share the ones that have meant so much to you or sermons that you listen to on the regular, down below, or on Instagram.
I encourage you to make your own list with each day’s theme. Even if you don’t make your own list, I hope some of these things, as simple as they may seem, remind you and me of just how blessed we really are.
xx

Erwin McManus
God speaks to me through him, every time. This man is as real as it gets. He has made me laugh and cry with his stories and illustrations. Mosaic Church is doing amazing things. His series called Chasing Daylight is — I have no words.
Evidence of Things Screened
Are you a film junkie? This podcast is all about how we can see secular films through a philosophical and spiritual lens. Everything has something to teach us.
RZIM
It is such an amazing apologetics resource. The university Q&A’s are always fire.

The Skinny Confidential: Him and Her
They always have interesting guests.
If you are into wellness or just people’s stories, this is a must-listen. Even when I don’t agree with the guest, I always learn something. The dynamic between the hosts is always great, as they are married.

Candice Kumai opens up, in every episode. It’s a journey you are embarking on, with her. An empowering one. She talks about moving from NYC, her next big step, making it in a man’s world with no safety net, and you will learn a lot about Japanese culture. And if you like matcha– you are in for a treat.
Goop
Interesting guests. I have learned so much about wellness from these folks, as goopy as they may be. Ashley Graham was on, not so long ago, talking about how she met her husband in the church elevator. #couplegoals
Gwyneth asked Ashley some specific questions about how her Christian faith has impacted her life. They were awesome. Ashley was witnessing out there.
Cherry Bombe
For the cooks and bakers. (And shakers).
Second Life by My Domaine
Listening to women talk about how they reinvented themselves and started businesses is so inspiring. I always take notes.
