Tiffany V.

Today, Tiffany shares with us thoughts on what repentance means, how to find the heart of God and her classic dream.

Inspiring biblical passage of the moment: I have too many favorites. Phillipians , Romans, Ephesians. I am always encouraged by Jesus Calling.

Spiritual growth focus at the moment: Keeping my eyes constantly on him.

Profession: Yoga instructor in studio In the Dana Point Harbor, CA @ iHeartYoga and with teens in treatment at Newport Academy. I also manage the lifestyle blog JustKeepBreathing.org.

A one sentence bio of yourself: Daughter of the King of Kings, blessed to marry the man of my dreams. Encourager at heart, passionate about hippos.

When did you first encounter God? When I was 19 and my grandpa passed away.

What has helped you grow spiritually in this season? Staying in His Word, being disciplined to read his Good News.

Just read/currently reading (and what has it taught you?): Brene Brown and Shauna Niquiest have validated, encouraged, and planted seeds of passion in me through all the books they’ve written.

Top three essentials: Bible, babe, water.

How did God speak to you recently? Repentance is choosing to go a different direction than you were currently headed.

“Repentance is choosing to go a different direction than you were currently headed.”

Hobby: Yoga! Taking and being in photos. Blogging. Staring at the ocean all day every day. I am insanely passionate about my hometown; downtown San Clemente.

Top three practical tips for staying spiritually strong: Read, read, read the Bible. Constant communication as if Jesus is always sitting right next to you. Listen to the heart of God’s people and you will find the heart of God.

“Listen to the heart of God’s people and you will find the heart of God.”

Favorite person in scripture? Oh that is tough. I think Paul. From lowest to highest, his ability to find contentment in any situation encourages me every day.

What do you want people to learn about God when they look at you? You are seen, You are known. You are enough. You are just right. You are loved at all times.

“You are seen, You are known. You are enough.”

Favorite season? Spring! But, I hear fall on the east coast will change my life.

Favorite holiday? Fourth of July! Halloween… and does my birthday count?

A dream you have? So classic, to own a home in San Clemente, have a family and a dog.

A special tradition you and your family engage in or keep: Every Thanksgiving, we write what we are thankful for on a rocks my mom and I got from Hobby Lobby around my junior year of high school. We go over all of them during the holidays and enjoy the new and the old that has happened over the years.

Question you will ask when you get to heaven? If I haven’t already seen her… where is Coco? The shar-pei I owned as a kid. She was the one and only puppy I have ever had, and I miss her every day and hope she is the second thing I get to see when I get to heaven, after Jesus.

Thing you want to raise awareness about: How trauma impacts your brain and body.

What do you usually do before 9 a.m.? Sleep. Maybe coffee, sometimes yoga.

What is on your nightstand? Only doterra Essential oils, my passport, a hippo wall decor from target that needs to be hung up, change in a jar and my eye mask with lavender for bed time!

Define Christianity in a sentence: An eternal relationship with Jesus.
