Caroline C.

Today, Caroline talks to us about how obedience is better than sacrifice and how the Lord fights for every area of our lives.
Inspiring biblical passage of the moment: Psalm 5:12, the favor of the Lord surrounds me like a shield. This scripture has many times reminded that the Lord is fighting for me in every area of my life. That though the enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy, God is for me and He fights for my life, my present, future, purpose and destiny…. protecting me and establishing me.
“The Lord is fighting for me in every area of my life.”

Favorite person in scripture? My favorite person in scripture is Peter; his life is such a perfect example of what it means to be imperfect yet from the pursuit of God comes great redemption and activation of purpose.
What do you want people to learn about God when they look at you? I want them to learn that obedience is better than sacrifice. When we obey God, we position ourselves to be a part of what God is doing in the earth and allow God to use us for his purposes.
“When we obey God, we position ourselves to be a part of what God is doing in the earth and allow God to use us for his purposes.”

Favorite holiday? Christmas. I love the general feel of Christmas (eggnog, fire place and the only time I can handle the snow) but even more, the meaning behind the celebration.
