Inspiring biblical passage of the moment: God is within her– she will not fail. (Psalm 46:5)

Spiritual growth focus at the moment: Patience. Everything happens is in God’s time, not in mine.

Profession: Professional Photographer and Best Buy Sales Team Lead.

A one sentence bio of yourself: I’m a work in progress every day.

When did you first encounter God? As a young girl, I went to church every weekend but drifted away from it in my early teens. Once I had my son, 3 years ago, I was searching for support and help in the spiritual hole I was in and stumbled across the church in FL (Christ Fellowship) that I immediately fell in love with. I felt like I had come home.

“I felt like I had come home.”

What has helped you grow spiritually in this season? Listening to Christine Caine and reading the Bible, daily.

Just read/currently reading: Unstoppable by Christine Caine.

Top three essentials: Bible, YouTube Sermons and K-Love.

How did God speak to you recently? I had my camera stolen a couple months ago while flying to photograph a wedding. I was worrying and stressing over how to make my bills when I received a check from an insurance company that allowed me to purchase a much better camera to replace the one that had been stolen. I felt like God was telling me, “See? You just needed to trust me to provide for you.”

“I received a check from an insurance company that allowed me to purchase a much better camera to replace the one that had been stolen.”

Hobby: Professional Photographer.

Top three practical tips for staying spiritually strong:

Listen to sermons when you can, not just on Sunday at Church.

Find a church that feels like home.

Surround yourself with people who lift you up and are a true and honest friend.

Favorite person in scripture? Ruth because of her dedication to helping family. She was steadfast and loyal and embodies the importance in God’s eyes that we are humble and kind.

What do you want people to learn about God when they look at you? Love your neighbor; be kind to others.

Favorite season? Fall.

Favorite holiday? Christmas.

A special tradition you and your family engage in or keep: I am going to start a Christmas tradition with my son of giving to someone who does not know who they are getting the gift from. A neighbor for example, with no indication of who gives.

Question you will ask when you get to heaven? Hmm… not sure on that. Probably, “Why was I so stubborn?” *laughs*

Thing you want to raise awareness about: A21 Campaign – Anti Human Trafficking.

What do you usually do before 9 a.m.? Get up, get my son ready for early preschool and pray.

Define Christianity in a sentence: Love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind and soul. And love your neighbor as yourself. This is His command to us.
