The Seven Days of Gratitude: Day 5 (Generosity)

Welcome to The Seven Days of Gratitude. This has been a longstanding tradition at Modern Witnesses. Each day, we will name the category, and you can pick something from that category to share or reflect on that you have been grateful for over this past year. You can start this challenge at any time and do it in any order. The hope is to embrace gratitude each day and reflect on our many blessings. This challenge always blesses me. I love when you share in the comments, or, the more popular way of sharing, by social media. Make sure to tag us. We love reposting, and you can see prior years in the highlights.

With all that said– let’s continue with Day 5: Generosity

I love a person who shares. I believe we have so we can give. One of my personal favorites are those who share knowledge. I know a kind attorney who invites me to all of his firm’s trainings and continuing education. There is an abundance of things I have learned this year thanks to that kindness and generosity. This was a person I shared my hunger to learn with, and he remembered me and shared. For that, I am so grateful.

I have an executive coach who I have worked with for years now, and she is in a season where she is doing an advanced degree, and when she needs to film for her adviser or needs practice— she offers me free coaching. I have walked away with important tools from the sessions I pay for but also the generously free “test” sessions. I have also been able to share her resources and her as a coach with others.

Generosity can be a small gesture. It can also be a big one.

Whose generosity has impacted you this year? Have you used the opportunity to share from your own abundance?
