When You Are Anxious

Father, in the mighty name of Jesus, I run into Your arms. You are the sovereign Lord, and Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. (11) Jesus, I thank You that the mountains melt like wax before You. (12) You tell the sun to stand still, and it does not move. (13) You speak peace to the waves, Lord, and they obey You. (14) Father, I praise You because despite what’s impossible for me, I know all things are possible with You. (15) I pray that my eyes would be fixed on You, and my heart would be knit together with Yours. Thank You for the wisdom that You give me to guide me through the valleys and chaos that this world can bring, but today, I choose to rest in Your peace.
Jesus, thank You for fighting my battles, I pray for the light of Your face to shine on me and those I love. Lord, thank You for leading and guiding me today in Your truth. You are the only one who can open doors that no man can shut and close doors that no man can open. (16) Surely goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life, and it is all because of You. (17) In Jesus’ mighty name, amen.
When You Are Tired of Waiting
Jesus, teach me to wait on You, and let Your mercy renew me today. I want You to find me on my knees, surrendered to You, faithful to You, grateful for all You have done, and I want to listen for Your voice at every moment of every day. I don’t want to live a day without Your presence. I lay down the regret, shame, and sins that took place yesterday and in the past. I am taking hold of Your grace that empowers me to live in victory.
Lord, I know that when I wait on You, my strength and joy are renewed. As faithful as the rising of the sun, every morning You provide new mercies to me, no matter the sins of yesterday. You love me as You find me, but Your mercy doesn’t leave me where You found me. You have looked at me with eyes of love and not of judgment; You have held me close when I have fallen and felt far away. Your love is all I will ever need.
Lord, thank You for the seat You have prepared for me at Your table, where we will be together forever. I honor You, Jesus. Amen.
When You Feel Lost
Lord, You are powerful and mighty. There isn’t a mountain You can’t move, and I know that all things are possible through You. You are the source of my strength, my joy, and every good thing in my life. Today I’m asking that You make a way where there seems to be none. Lord, You are not surprised or caught off guard by the situations I am facing, but I thank You that You have already gone before me, behind me, and all around me. I will not lean on my own understanding, but what I want is to acknowledge You in all my ways, because I know that it is here where You make the crooked paths straight.
Father, I thank You for Your goodness, for Your grace, for Your forgiveness, and for Your kindness, and I thank You that I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength. (29) Lord, thank You for going before me and making a way when the walls seem to be closing in. I trust and know that You already have a plan prepared for me, even if I cannot see it yet, and Your Word will light the way. Lord, I pray that You would give me eyes to see what You see, and ears to hear Your voice. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.
