The Seven Days of Gratitude: Day 1 (The Physical)
Welcome to The Seven Days of Gratitude. This has been a longstanding tradition at Modern Witnesses. It’s one of my favorites, and I love when our Canadian friends join in (even though their Thanksgiving happens earlier). In past years, we have had specific things we have shared we are grateful for, but this year, we want to try something new and broaden the categories! Each day, we will name the category and you can pick something from that category to share or reflect on that you have been grateful for over this past year. You can start this challenge at any time and do it in any order. The hope is to embrace gratitude each day and reflect on our many blessings. This challenge always blesses me. I love when you share in the comments, or, the more popular way of sharing, by social media. Make sure to tag us. We love reposting and you can see prior years in the highlights.
With all that said– let’s start with Day 1: The Physical.

You can choose anything from the physical realm to reflect on, including, but not limited to, your body. Today, I am reflecting on strength. This year, I have done a lot of education, learning and experimentation around building strength. I have enjoyed weight lifting and different types of physical workouts. I also started supplementing with beef liver capsules. (I promise they don’t taste like anything!) But all of these things have made me feel stronger and more energetic.
Every day, I am so conscious of the fact that there are people who wish they had the ability to move as many of us do, and we often take this for granted. There are also people who go mind-over-matter, achieving incredible recoveries and defying the odds through strength.
What physical thing are you grateful for this year? Share with us!
