Seven Days of Gratitude: Day 4

The Seven Days of Gratitude are an annual tradition and gratitude challenge for us at MW. We have seven days leading up to Thanksgiving (U.S.) where we reflect on different themes that help us reflect on the things we can be grateful for. Some are obvious and some are a bit more random. I hope you join us on this journey of reflecting on gratitude. You can journal it or share with us on social media @modernwitnesses_ on Instagram. Tag us or do #SevenDaysofGratitude. As always, we are grateful to God for you and everything you are doing to reflect His light.

Day 4 theme:

A Home

There is a lot going on in the world. A lot of pain and uncertainty. A lot of conflict. There isn’t a day that goes by where I don’t wake up and I am so grateful to be in a safe, warm bed with a roof over my head.

Home can look different in different seasons. As someone who has experienced housing insecurity, I know this. But I am assuming, that wherever you are in the world, you are reading this from a computer or phone or tablet under a roof. It may be a hotel, a temporary stay, a friend’s couch, a family home or your very first apartment. Regardless, you are home.

What aspect of your home are you grateful for? What does your home inspire in you? How have you shared your home or enhanced your home space this year? Share with us!

God’s provision is there for us at every step.

And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

Philippians 4:19
